Photographer’s Note
Here's a closer view of Calgary Tower, which appeared on the horizon, in yesterdays upload. I liked the minimalist, almost abstract view here.
"The Calgary Tower is a 191 meter (627 foot) free standing observation tower in Downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Its total weight is approximately 10,000 tons, of which 60%, or roughly 6,000 tons, is below ground.
The tower was built at a cost of $3,500,000, and was a joint venture between Marathon Realty Company Limited and Husky Oil. The landmark was intended as urban renewal program for Canada's Centennial.[3] It opened to the public on June 30, 1968."

Hi Chris,
The good point of view from the bottom to the top of the tower. It is showing the details and colors of the tower. It is well framed by the building on the left. The clear blue sky is sending a light which is enhancing the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Hello Chris,
A very lovely inspiration with the two towers beside each other, this all against a steel blue sky. Perspective and presentation are pleasant for look at.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hello Chris,
An abstract kind of photo, but I really like it! I like your POV and how those two buildings seem to want to reach for the sky. Great light, beautiful contrasts and colours. Well done!

Dag Chris,
One of my favourite POV’s. Just straight upwards just next to a skyscraper or something like that. Just to point at the infinity of the universe. You picture is extra attractive by the contrast of the round and the rectangle forms.

Hi Chris,
I am very fond of this kind of POV and this one is very achieved. THe image is wonderfully balanced despite the convergence induced by the low POV. The simple graphics and well rendered colours make it very attractive.

Hi Chris
I really appreciate you writing a historical aspect to your photos. Makes it much more interesting and educational.
I had to idea 60% of its weight is actually below ground! thats amazing!
Great clarity in the shot.
Thanks Chris
Craig
