Photographer’s Note
One of the secondary roads on the East edge of Calgary. This is a farming community that recently has seen a boom in the construction of very large homes. The city of Calgary is barely five minutes from here and perhaps in a few more years all of this will be suburbs of the city. Enjoy!

Hi Roberto,
Ah, this is good, i like such images. No idea where it is exactly taken, but i see myself driving there last year. Warm and sunny weather, radio on...what's else to want ;-)
According to your note this will be probably build in the next view years....pity, but on the other hand you have enough wide open spaces.
Love your colour setting here, the dark tones from the road mix perfectly with the brighter sky and the composition is classic with such a perspective depth....very good.

Henk

Hello Roberto,
The light and the colors are great on this view. Moreover, we have nice clouds on the top and this straigh road driving the look far on the background.

I like the golden light of the sunset, and the road going to nowhere.

Hello Roberto,
There is the impression of a total freedom, which makes it possible to move us with no regard for speed limits. Framing is effective. the natural light and colors are very attractive. congratulations.

Hello Roberto,
I hope this land is not submerged by buildings. I suppose, that is the fear, in such a large, relativly sparsely populated country. In the U.K., it is almost impossible now, to build on 'green' land! We all need breathing space, animals included, and of course, we need farmland.
Since I studied Canada at school, this has been my impression of The Prairies; vast horizons and golden fields.
A great pov which leads the eye at the speed of a car to the distant horizon and overhanging clouds.
Good composition and fine saturation.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Roberto,
a very classic apprioac to such a landscape being crossed with a straight road and yet it never fails. Especially when you get such a rich contrast and full colors as you did it here. The clouds give an additional mood to the whole scene.
I am pretty sure that I passed this area last year and your image revokes certain nice feelings towards this time.
It has been a while since I got active here a TE so I don't know about everything that went on here. What happened to your entire gallery? I miss all the outstanding Canada shots that gave your collection such a destinct note!

Hi Roberto,
New camera,huh?
On this small format I cannot say that I see any technical difference but that`s no wonder; I bet the difference is obvious at full size.
Though, I might see a difference in your style. I can`t put my finger on, but you do something different and it looks better now.
I mean, you had some good photos before too but now you are more constant, the quality is more constant, more professional.
OK, have fun with your new toy!:)

Hello Roberto,
It seems to me like Alberta is either completely vertical or quite horizontal!
And I'm an admirer of drive & snap, and thanks to the fine light this is one of the better...
Well framed with indisputable lead-in..!

Hey Roberto,
Endless direction...I like how the human eyen follows lines and shapes, much in the same way as when we look at a road map. The stunning hues on those prairies engages a viewer in this way to appreciate a moving scenery captured in stills!

Hi roberto, How cute is your daughter Karolina in the intro. How old is she? Are you coming to Poland this year?
Splendid view - the golden fields and the straight endless road. I saw such roads last year in USAbut usually without fields, mostly there were deserts. Splendid colours and sharpness.

Hi Roberto,
This table flat landscape is wonderfully framed by the golden hues of the grass which blends beautifully with the varying shades of blue in the sky.
Very tranquil late day light does wonders with the wispy clouds of this big prairie sky.

This is stunning! I love the wide angle and how the yellow lines on the road match the yellow fields. Excellent exposure. Perfect tonal levels, rich yet natural colors. A well defined sky- love those whispy clouds on the right.
And who says the prairies are boring? ;-)

Roberto,
Simply fantastic, a minimalist composition, but so powerful, put you right in the middle of the road, I'm keep looking back to make sure not car is coming :) But I guess we are safe, since it'a small town, rural area of Canada. So charming, the gold and blue, what a fantastic combination of colors. the cloud help make this composition and add more dimension to the landscape. Great shot, my complements.

Hi Roberto,
At the moment it does not look like a suburb!
The impression of space is really surprising with this immense straight line. Even the horizontal clouds do not manage to break this feeling.
Your POV in full center of the road is excellent and the light is fantastic.

Hola Roberto,
I really like this dramatic compo of sunlight and shadow. The colors are great; I especially like the shades of blue and the way they contrast with the gold.
Nice to hear from you!! Glad to hear that you will be leading trips again; one should hold onto one's passions. Guess you're done with school and now Maddy will soon be starting school - well maybe that's a bit of an exageration.

Great POV and very good depth of field, with this dark road narrowing into the horizon! The yellow line also matches the sun-struck field, and the lake matches the sky!

Great impression of the open country roads of North America, Roberto.
As the viewer's eye traces the center line to the horizon, he/she cannot help but marvel at the endless opportunities and expanses that lie beyond the horizon. Great symmetry and balance, with the fence posts to the left and the farm to the right to provide a little added interest.
Here's to the road! Thanks for sharing,
Brian
