Photographer’s Note

One of the moments of the last summer. Fish Creek provincial park in the southern part of Calgary...picnic area. Weather was beautiful,calm,warm,quiet. I noticed a boy playing with rocks trying to make them "splashy" when throwing a bit above water surface...I remember we were doing the same games back in the childhood :-)
Tried to catch this moment when rocks created a few water splashes...
I remember the one considered to be a winner when got at least 6 splashes in a row.
It was cool :-)

hey Mike,
Nice to see a colorful and beautiful summer photo the first day spring. I just adjusted my watch forward one hour so that's how I know it's spring now :)
You caught the water splashes very nice I like your picture.

nice capture of the water splashes in a beautiful landscape. We played this in our childhood too. Lovely play of shadows and light on the water and also some nice reflections. Good choice of vertical format.

Bella questa foto! molto belli i colori del paesaggio e l'acqua trasparente che si colora dei riflessi del cielo e degli alberi. Ottimo tempismo a fermare il momento dello splash! Magnifica la definizione!

Очень понравился колорит и композиция-а это, как мы знаем - ядро снимка и, значит, он удался!
Желаю удачи и всего хорошего в ходе отпуска!
P.S.
А я 25 днем улетаю назад в Италию и, как говорил мудрый сверчок, обращаясь к Буратино:"там тебя ждут необычайные приключения!..."
Надо почти все, спустя 20 летний опыт эмиграции, начинать сначала...
Может это и большой плюс, если задуматься по-солдатски!

Excellent timing, youu got two of the six. I used to play that as well, but not in such beautiful surroundings :D. Beautiful, natural colors.
