Photographer’s Note
Like many large cities we have gone to, the first place we visited in Calgary was the Farmer's Market. It is a popular place and there were tons of folks there spending lots of money on fresh produce, coffee, baked goods and what-have-you. This was the first time I ever saw a guy playing a cello at a Farmers market anywhere. We've been to Farmers Markets all over North America, the ones in Canadian towns are usually more active and larger than American Farmers Markets. Calgary was just as expected! This photograph was taken at about 1330 in the afternoon and the place was still packed with buyers and sellers.
We had lunch, coffee and bought snacks for the next few days.
The cellist looks like he is playing a background number for this scene - put on your headphones - maybe you can hear him play!
