For Nelu Goia, hopefully next time you will find the real summit of Moose Mountain ;-)
Moose Mountain is not a huge mountain nor a prominent peak anywhere in the Rockies. It is however an easily attained from a high parking lot and with some impressive views.
The tiny building seen here is the potty of the Fire Warden's cabin. The cabin in on the summit of this small mountain and is observation post for fires and other weather related events. Enjoy :-)

Great shot Roberto. The deep saturated colors look great. Composition is excellent, with the outhouse in the corner, the mountains fading into the background and the cloud filled sky. Nice depth with the clouds also. Just an all around great looking shot.

Nice work.
John

A great landscape shot, Roberto.
Dedicated this picture for Nelu is nice, both of you have posted so many beautiful landscape pictures and this picture is one of these. I really like the clouds formation, so dramatic and so beautiful blue sky. Excellent quality, thanks.

daniel

Hi Roberto,

This is an amazing shot with a view as far as they eye can see! Great view with amazing colours, light and such a great sky! Fantastic composition with lots of depth and layers of mountains. Excellent work, Roberto!

Greetings,
Ann

PS: I haven't been here yet either, but it looks very interesting...where about is this area?

Well Roberto, I was in the neighborhood:)
When you mentioned in your comment that the hike to Moose Mountain is an easy scramble I thought: “What the heck is he talking about? It took me and my soon 2 and a half hours to get there!”
Obviously, I got the wrong mountain:)…Prairie Mountain, and that was no easy scramble…
In this photo I think I see something familiar…my favorite colors:)
I like the photo as a whole not only the colors. The clarity is great and only the sky is the limit.
You have a green smiley face from me, Roberto:)
Nelu

Roberto, I assume from your note that you can drive to this spot, or most of the way. It is an impressive view and however you got there it was worth it. I am not sure the out house helps much but overall it is very nice, good color and the details are visible all the way out to the horizon it seems. Nice capture,

Greg

Hi Roberto,
first I thought about the sense of a toilet in this height. For sure it could be useful for those achieving the height but the frequency of usage would be less. ;-)
It is strange, but must have sense to protect the one watching. Very nice rock formation in wonderful structure and good textures. Great deep view with a wonderful sky. Yes, the views are impressive.
Lieben Gruss, Ulf

Bonjour Roberto
Très beau paysage de montagne avec de belles couleurs et des nuages élégants.
Merci pour le partage et bonne journée.
Nicole

- Excellent composition for this beautiful landscape with this impressive mount in foreground, I like always your cloudy sky, many thanks polarized filter, excellent!

Hello Roberto! The sharpness of this shot is readily apparent at first glance so nice job on the technique. The well-placed little shack definitely adds interest and nice color contrast.

Very well done!
Doug

Wooooh what a majestic place, what a majestic view!!!
The superb lightness, the depth, the sharpness and the impressive sky help here very much.
Great work Roberto.
Cheers

Hola Roberto,

Angel.

Hi Roberto
Strange place for a toilet cabin ;o) LOL
Otherwise I like the colors here. Great sky with 3D polarizer effect
Cheers
JP

Roberto,
I'm amazed about how you succeeded catching the sky AND the mountain texture, with a so perfect exposure.
Colors and tones are beautiful too.
Nice job,
Regards,
JB.

Hi Dear Roberto..

Fascinating tones, and a great image..
Lovely lights :)
Kudos, Roberto.

Hello Roberto,

Very nice point of view, with the cleaness of the air, the look can go very far on the background.
It is also quite funny to see this little cabin in the middle of nowhere.

Yves.

Hi Roberto,
A beautiful image with a gorgeous sky!
I like so much all the depth achieved here, with all that info seen at the background, and the different chain mountains layers.
Its really appropriated the location for the fire cabin.
Well done and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM

Very interesting surrounding Roberto with an awesome view.
The small cabin looks more like a kind of restroom ;-) But it adds really great contrast to the image, a good focuspoint.
Good use of the polarizer which brings deep intense colours...very nice work.
Regards, Henk

I really like how the clouds seem to be almost eye level. Not very often do we get a landscape where you can see the bottom and the tops of the clouds. It makes me wonder why they sit all at the same height. I really like how Moose Mountains ridgeline takes you to the mountains in the background. They are quiet impressive as well. Very nice job.

Hi Roberto,
A great shot of this spectacular place. The little house is an unusual but most intriguing feature in this immense mountain landscape. Very nice colors, excellent contrast, and perfect sharpness. Great work and TFS. Gerald

Hola Roberto,
This is beautiful, even from the thumbnail with the lovely sky and the complex curves of the FG mountain. The DOF is excellent due to your carefully framed cues: the detail of the FG mountain and tasteful outhouse, the road leading up the hillside and the distant lake. I'm not kidding about tasteful, I'm used to ugly, blue plastic things. I suppose that had it been built facing the view, it would have been too windy. Still it reminds of a place
in Mooloolaba billed as a "Loo with a View."
So was this Maddie's first mountain?
HLJ, Pat

Hi Roberto
Impressive view from the top with this potty ;). Great colours.
Regards

Hola Roberto,
Beautiful range of mountains and clouds. The tiny building is a nice detail - it looks like saying that you're not alone - for those who climb this mountain.
Thanks for sharing,
Maria do Carmo

Hi Roberto.

A beautiful landscape.
The presence of the small cabin can seems to be strange as it seems that the mountain has a lots of rock and not very much trees to fire..

Use of the polarizer was a true good idea.

Regards.

Hello Roberto,
This place is great and your picture enhances it well... It is really a nice view and the sky is just terrific.
Like some of my collegues, before reading the note, I would have thought of some kind of toilettes for the cabin? Maybe there was a solution to avoid having it on the image?
Have a nice week-end.
Best regards, Christian

Hi Roberto
Definately a room with a view, how spectular! A nice capture of the east facing mountain range and foothills. I can tell by the elevation how high you are as the clouds look so close. Gorgeous!

Hi Roberto,
It's a gorgeous view, very well captured as you use to. Our eyes seem to reach the infinite while looking at it and the sky is gorgeous. That cabin makes the compo more interesting for looking so out of place and for the sting of colour. It's funny that I though it was a box before I read your note. Knowing that it is a cabin gives a sense of scale that makes the view even more impressive.
Regards, José.

Hola Roberto.
Felicitaciones.
Abrazos.

Hi Roberto
the perspective is beautifull on this landscape of mountains. Nice perspective also for this strong cloudy sky
Bertrand

an absolutely wonderful and fresh view. The image has a great sense of presenting a beautiful scenario like way it should with some lovelt tones, textures and contrasts that lend it a quality that make a masterpice. The pov and overall composition also make it a very lovely image

Hello Roberto,
an image of mountain always gives pleasure when on live in a city. I like this very open image where all is dominated. It is a superb landscape and a beautiful coloured image. Cheer.
Good Day

Hello Roberto!
It's a very nice landscape with a superb background of the beautifully coloured sky and a fine detailed foreground, making the scene deep. Good job!

Hola ROberto
Muy buena vista panoramica sobre el valle
la cabanita da un sentido del tamano del lugar

Very fine detailled sharp shot on the whole range but the colorsetting is most appealing, a bit reholded in the sky fitting well the sunny frontplan with the cute cabine :). Well done Robert.

Roberto I missed this lovely mountain top capture of yours. The endless view to the distance with the clouds makes this a very dynamic capture. Good work!

Hi Roberto. An excellent clear photo from the summitof Moose Mountain. I like to see alpine views such as this. TFS. Murray.

Hi Roberto,

I like this one the most of the more reccent shot. An interesting forground combined with a dramatic sky comes together to make for an appealing image. The horizon is still a bit too centered for my liking, and I'd be tempted to crop some off the top- yet that jet stream does add some interest to the shot.
Due to the bright forground- the backdrop has become quite dark- hence my workshop in which I brightened the mids (very slightly) in an attempt to bring more interest to the backdrop.

All the best Roberto,
- Dan

Impressive view into the distance at the summit with the unique inclusion of the potty of the Fire Warden! I guess what strikes me the most is that it is so well maintained in such a seemingly remote location. Like the colors and textures achieved with the polarizer.
