[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Just about 45 minutes from Calgary. Elbow Falls are always a sight to see (winter or summer) and enjoy a picnic day or a nice walk

June is the high water month, when the melting snow combines with spring rains. During the dry winter, the falls can be 6 metres high.
Throughout the summer the crystal clear water has a turquoise tint.

Christian this is very nice. I have never seen the Elbow Falls frozen before. They look alright but I wish you had taken a wider angle so we could see some size. Anyway, the image is very nice. Thanks for sharing Christian.

Roberto

Hello Christian,
nice shot of this water fall frozen. As Roberto said, it missing something to give us an idea of its size. With your POV this fall could be 1 meter high, it should be the same :-)
Anyway, thanks for sharing.
Robin

As I read in the comments of robertosalguero and Aeroby, it seems that these waterfals are big, and that can´t be see in your picture, but what we can see is as if everything were frozen. Not only the real frozen ice on the stones, but the water itself, due to the shutter speed you used for this picture.
A very interesting picture mixing these to 'freezed' waters.
Regards,
Jürgen
