[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The vast Canadian prairie has called many young people west to it's booming economy and wide open spaces and beauty. There are still miles upon miles of open space, however, just minutes from huge cities.
This view is one taken south of Calgary, Alberta, as a storm was coming in.

God bless those who are able to find beauty in the prairies.
Me ? - I was so depressed driving thru on my way to BC I was just about to commit suicide. But somehow your photo proves that prairie can be charming indeed.

I'm guessing that this is a scan from a print or an old slide as it isn't the greatest quality image.
I like the contrast of the gold of the corn stubble with the white and grey of the sky. I also like the composition of the bottom half with the bale filling the gap in the row behind. Not so happy with the horizon just about chopping the picture in half although any cropping could only be done from the top and that would lose much of the effect of the sky.
We can't have everything :-)

I like it - it has kind of a dreamy quality to it, like a golden haze of memory. Over all good work. :)
