Photographer’s Note

A tiny lake (sorry I do not know its name) along the road between Banff and Lake Minnewanka. The place was very crowdy and I was lucky to get this picture.

Un petit lac (dont malheureusement je ne connais pas le nom) le long de la route entre Banff et le lac Minnewanka. L'endroit était plein de monde et c'est avec une certaine chance que j'ai pu faire cette photo.

What a wonderful sight! Good, that people are so tiny in this magnificent landscape ;-)
I like how you included the foreground here. This creates an enormous depth into the scenery. For me a perfect photo indeed!

Great Banff NP landscape, every time I see pictures of the canadian rocky mountains more and more interesting in gonig comes to me.

Hello Chris,
to me, this view looks like part of the Emerald city of the Land of Oz :) Maybe it's because of the colour of the rippled water! Winderful landscape, beautiful colours and majestic mountains in the distance. Excellent composition! I also like the tiny white flowers in the FG ;)

Chris,
This is a great scene with the rippled lake providing a nice textured reflection. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The curving line of trees divide the scene into two contrasting areas. The sky is great providing a nice backdrop for the shot.
