Hier hattest Du aber schwieriges Licht, das Du jedoch wunderbar gemeistert hast. Alle Bereiche des Bildes - Sonnenschein und Schatten - sind gut belichtet und die gezeigte Landschaft ist einfach nur großartig. Man möchte ins Foto hineinwandern ... ;-)

Hi Norbert,
Beautiful place and beautilful coulours too. It looks like autumn settles in early in the canadian Rockies. Light conditions are interesting with the mixture of shade and sun and I also like the way land and water seem to mis as well. In fact seeing the water both to the left and right of the picture I get the impression you must have been standing in the middle of the water to take this shot.

I have seen this on the map, but for some reason I have never make into the Consolation Valley. It looks like a beautiful place, with that perfect carpet of trees which has never been logged. Nice contrast with the bushes which are changing colour and turning golden yellow. Great work!

Une image d'une très belle netteté. La compo est bien vue et les couleurs sont riches en teintes de toute sorte ! La multitude de sapin pointus comme des aiguilles donne une très belle impression !

Hi Norbert. You picked a fine place to take a break. Indeed the light is quite good. I also like the way the small stream meanders its way through the shot. I think a polarizer would have been perfect here. Nice one Norbert.

the automn is the best season. i am happy to see again the snow but the most beautiful month for photographers is October and November.
your picture is the perfect illustration: colours, sky, everything is at the top. a true pleasuare.

Hi Norbert,
This compostion really has a very sophisticated balance. The first impression is of the bright sunlit V of clouds, rocky mountain and the very healthy looking evergreen forest. Then one sees a myriad of mirrors reflecting the sky; the bright autumn colors also brighten the shadows.

It sounds like the pair of you share important interests; congratulations on your wisdom in choosing a mate.

Hi, Norbert. You show us a nice piece of wilderness here. The foreground looks like an island of space in the very dense Canadian forest. The river makes an nice diagonal line pointing to the mountains in the background. The autumn colours are very nice and the clouds make the summit on the left look a little threatening.
