This is a shot of Peyto Lake in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada that I took last year. It was very early in the morning just as the suns rays were hitting the peaks.

A stunning view. Amazing detail and colour in this, nice composition/POV the way the mountains and clouds all lead to the same point.
Really nice shot.

The morning light definitely makes this one sing, Derrald. We've seen our share of Peyto Lake views but this one shines for the clear visibility, and the bright touch of the illuminated trees at the bottom right. Expert tech including a judicious choice of the filter.
May I encourage you to more actively participate in this website by writing critiques to other members. So far it seems you are only using it to promote your photos - nothing wrong with that, it just shouldn't be the only thing you're logging on to TE for.

Magnifique cliché !
Les couleurs, la lumière, la clarté et l'étale de l'eau, la netteté des contours et des arbres...
Bravo pour ce merveilleux cliché !
et vive les lève tôt ! ;o)

Splendid scenery. It looks so untouched with the lake so smooth, the trees so perfectly aligned and the view that stretches so far. The light is lovely too. I checked out your gallery and you've got many spectacular shots on it.

Superb colours and light. The early bird gets the photograph! Thanks for getting up so early.

An image that has been posted innumerable times on TE, but an image with a difference for all that. This doesn't have the usual colour, presumably because of the early hour at which it was taken. It is a welcome change to see sky, cloud and trees reflected in the lake. The angle of the light has also picked out the detail in the mountains in both the near and far distance.
A really nice image.

Amazing shot! I love the Canadian Rocky Mountains and was there several times. I could never top your quality of photos and your eye for photography. Wow, absolutely stunning!
I love everything about this photo, the way the light hits the mountains, the cloud formation, the reflection on the water, the colour of th water, the distant view...just a great composition overall! You'll score some high point on TE! Great work, Derrald! Keep them coming.

Just simply WHOA. The clarity and sharpness of the image is very very high.
I'm just breathless looking and observing the sharpness, my friend.
A full mark for the sharpness, pal.

What a shot. I assume that the colors were enhanced -- if not, even more amazing! this photo almost looks computer generated and impossibly fantastic. The vantage point as well as the compsition are incredible and well done.

I'm amazed by this photo.
I just love it, I've seen many photos of Peyto Lake from this similar POV but the colors in this one are unique and the horizon's exceptional, the sunrays passing through the clouds make it perfect, so beautiful!
