Photographer's Note

Less common view of Peyto Lake, seen from Observation Peak (3174 m). The most prominent, snowy peak on center left is Mt. Baker (3172 m) and on the right in the background, 25 km away is Mt. Mummery (3328 m). The bright stripe on the right, below Mt. Mummery is Delta Glacier. Between Delta Glacier and Mt. Mummery, above the left and right end of the glacier, are Mistaya Mt. (3095 m) and Barbette Mt.(3072 m), respectively. To the left of Mt. Baker is the Peyto Glacier, as well as and the snow-covered Mts. Rhondda (3055 m) and Collie (3116 m). Directly above Peyto Lake is Caldron Peak (2911 m). Down in the Mistaya Valley can be seen the Icefields Parkway and the Bow Summit - Peyto Lake viewpoint, where most images of Peyto Lake are taken from.
A fall day with excellent weather in the Rocky Mountains.
