Photographer’s Note
One of the popular tourist attractions in Banff is the Sulphur Mountain Gondola. This was taken from the Cosmic Ray Station at the top of Sulphur Mountain I believe looking south at about 11am. I almost made this a black and white to emphasize the gradation in shadows as the mountains get further away, but I like the blue color a lot and it almost has the same effect.
The ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain was fairly expensive, as is almost anything you do in Banff National Park, but worth it. You can also walk a trail up if you are in shape and connect to other trails in the park. There are a lot of views from up there, this is my favorite one that I took. I hope you like it as much as I do.
Thanks for looking - if you live anywhere north of the Mason-Dixon line I hope you have a few dogs to sleep with tonight!
