Two Jack Lake
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Another perfect day in the Canadian Rockies...
Two Jack Lake, not far from Lower Bankhead on the Minnewanka Loop Drive (a 10 mile return loop from Banff Town, Highway 1).
The mountain rising up on the right is either Cascade Mountain or Rundle Mountain, I can't remember which :-(
I took this photo early afternoon on a bright and sunny autumnal day. |

Jean,
Your composition is great here showing the lake and mountains with the line of trees separating the two. The lighting and colors are fine but the photo lacks sharpness. The sharpness could have been improved by using a higher f-stop (around f/11), you seem to have had enough light to do this. A polarizing filter would take away the glare in the foreground and make the colors more vivid.
This is still a very fine photo!

Jean,
Love this photo, so peaceful. Great colours and composition, I am expecting a bear to appear in the distance!!
