Just down stream from the Bridge, where you can get a great view of Castle Moutain, was this gentle scene of low sunlight, snow, and the Beautiful Bow River. If I was taller.....I would have liked to get more of the mountains...

Great shot, very good balanced view, very sharp and well exposure, great light in the sky

Great winter scene that would make a nice Christmas card. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The areas of sun and shadow create nice contrast in the shot. The trees form a nice line through the shot.

Hello Steve,

more of the mountains would be ok however I think this image is very well balanced with the mountains hiding behind the pines. The sky is an eye catcher because of the dynamic cloud pattern and nice blue colour. The Bow River look a bit narrow here but still create an excellent focal point. Nice work Steve.

It always amazes me how the snow can change a landscape. This has a nice balance between the snowy foreground and the light clouds in the sky. Good feeling of cold too - well done!
