Wow, this is an absolut beauty. A great perspective with a lot of depth and the colours and reflection just looks amazing!
Love the POV you took it from, the bright red canoe (or is it a kayak?) makes a nice detail.
Thanks for sharing this.

Wonderful image, the landscape of Nature here is really attractive and fascinating.
Reflections on the still water create an effect of "perfect mirror". And colours are also very bright and attractive.

Wow. Another Wow.
Amazing image man! Excellent.
Great foreground, some wood, some stones, some leaves.
I like the details in the water still being visible. The reflections of the sky and the landscape in the water is marvellous. It gives a bit dreamy appearance. The canoe, also reflected is indeed a very nice addition to the image, just the colour that was missing if it wasn't there.
Great sharpness from front to back aswell, lovely details because of that.
The light and shadows above the mountains in the distance are also very nice, you've captured it all well.
Bravo, splendid shot!

Marvelous shot, Doug. Great details and composition. Incredible sharpness (I thnk youi were shooting at a small aperatre and long exposure here jusging from the quality and use of a tripod). My only nit is the shot looks a bit washed out -- you could get a lot more contrast and color out of it. I got a lot more even using an "auto" setting.
Mike
P.S. I would post it as a WS but you didn't allow them.

Hello Doug,
A very nice composition. Disconcerting element that the presence of these red boat compared to the quietude of the places. The clearness of the reflection is perfect, just like framing. Very good work !

I'm not in the mood for writing critics today but your photo is absolutely amazing! Everything seems to be perfect -the clear, calm water and gentle reflections, subtle colours with the red splash of the canoe, the sunny spots and autumn leaves in the foreground.
Congratulations!

Some of these colors are just truely out of this world. The picture is amazingly crisp and the little splash of red just adds the necessary warmth in the composition... perfect..

Hello Doug,
Nice how you included the driftwood in the foreground. The reflections are also great. I think the photo could use eve more saturation and contrast, however.

Great shot. The clouds act as a leading line as do the logs. It pays to get up early to get Lake Louise that calm.

Wow this is good Doug!
Extremely clear, but still with something that look like a soft haze over the mountains.
I really like it, also the red canoe adds to the scene.

you've captured an amazing scene here. The lighting and cloud cover is very dramatic and the reflection on the water is perfect. Of course the two things that stand out are the red canoe adn the sun's reflection on the snow capped mountain in the very back.
Very well done.
