Photographer's Note
Athabasca Falls aren't far from Jasper so they do get plenty of visitors. The falls plunge in a raging torrent over a 23m drop into the canyon below where the waters continue their furious flow. It isn't a long canyon but it is spectacular and it certainly isn't a place for a swim!

Hi Ian,
Spectacular capture of the raging river. I like it, noisy and dynamic.

Hello Ian,
The turbulent rivers, and point of view, are staggering. A spectacular photo, high quality. Bravo.
Have a nice day

Hi Ian
Indeed it looks like a place where swimming would be dangerous. But what a wonderful, wild and untouched place it seems. I like the tight framing like this: just wild water and untouched bushland. A beautiful scene, very attractive.
Thanks for sharing, have a beautiful day

Hi Ian,
beautiful reportage from Canada. You present a less popular image of this country on the TE. I like this composition here with the white water in between the originally shaped rocks. Very impressive,
M
