Emerald lake is so called because of its deep green colour. It is situated between White Horse; Yukon, and Skagway; Alaska.
This picture was taken from a speeding bus, and I had to quickly whip my camera out, then wait for it to boot up. It’s definitely worth a stop, but I was in a rush to catch the very last mountain train of the season. I had to clone out some human elements, and cropped the image to make it more symmetrical. |

Beautiful picture of a great picture. Incredible it hasn't received points so far. Obivously is far from perfect but it's surprinsigly good if you think that it has been taken from a bus in motion!
