Great colors, and very dramatic sky. Then the yellow line guides the eye up to infinity, and pars very well with the yellow of the trees. A great composition under many aspects.

I remember this. It was the first photo I commented from your gallery. It's the same place where you took your first upload. Light is still amazing. The vertical compo is great but I prefer the horizontal one because it goes against all the verticalness of the scene. Along with your words, it's a very sensitive image. From here, there's an entire world waiting for you.

Lucie,
this low POV's using the lines on the roads are extremely effective to create a wonderful feeling of DOF with a line leading to the infinity. The texture of the road looks like sandpaper and cotrast so well with the colors at the street sides. Finally the dark sky provides the right ambiente to make the whole scene shine.

Excellent scene, great PoV, although my personal favorite is when I can get down to the road itself, I love the growing effect it portrays into depth. I liked the symmetry in your frame too. Nice colors and good exposure levels used.

I love the contrasting colors and excellent light management of your photo. The sky is just amazingly dramatic and this "golden" road that leads to a more serene background full of hope.

Wow, the contrast in this is really amazing, the clouds are so dark that it seems almost like night, with a small sliver of daylight at the horizon. Wonderful road shot and a beautiful note also.

What do I like more in your photo? The texture of the road? The triangles of the golden trees on the side of the road? The "Independence Day-like" clouds?
They are all beautiful but I like most the originality, the IDEA behind your composition.
The idea; it`s either you have it or you don`t have it.This cannot be learned,you have to be born with it and I think this separates the artists from the others.

Une très belle perspective aux couleurs automnales superbes !
Les 2 bandes formées par les arbres au bord de la route sont réellement captivantes et se marient bien avec la ligne jaune de la route ! De plus le ciel est impressionnant ! il y peut-être une peut trop de sharpening à mon goût mais il s'agit du seul défaut !
Tu as eu une excellente idée !

Hi Lucie. Great depth and good contrast colors of dark blue and yellow. The stripes takes us straight out into the horisont and let the thoughts fly with it. Threathening clouds creating a special mood along with the contrast to the strong light on the right side trees. Nice. Take care, Jens :-)

Wonderful shot Lucie. I like the 1:3 proportion. It emphasizes the path or journey that seems to be long sometimes, but short in reality. The end is a bit dark but with some light opening below in the sky colour. Really nice.

You have so many photos from all over the world. IF you are going to Damascus, as you say, you should have a wonderful photography time!
