Taken around 11am, that's the sun you see through the ice fog.
Electricity only arrived in Old Crow in the 1960s; telephone service (via satellite) just made it's way through the entire town this year. I took this picture for a presentation on the challenges facing the IT industry in a remote, fly-in community.

Nice B&W shot! The position of the sun is great. The note is very representative of life up north!

Kai, this is really an impressive achievement, very nicely composed. The accompanying story is very interesting.
This looked too appealing to me to not try a little workshop; hope you don't mind.

Nice picture. I canīt help wondering if it is a BW picture or if it just lacks color.
I would cropp of the lines in the lover part but just as little as possible.

Well done! So simple and clean, yet expressive. Would a bit more contrast help? Also, bit less centering? But these are only quibbles. I love it.

Great subject in a brilliant situation. You miss a little impact though with the central subject... Still nice though.
