Photographer’s Note
Imagine jumping off this, free falling and then pulling your parachute. Not in my wildest dreams, but very adventuresome, brave people travel here to Sam Ford Fiord in Nunavut to do this. I have cropped this picture a bit at the sky and tried Lukos sharpening technique. Not sure if I did it right or not. Also did some work with curves as the orginal was very washed out looking. Thanks for taking a peak......

It looks like the broken tooth of some fosilised monster. Composition is good, sharpness is fine. I think however the slight blue cast weakens the image a little. Just auto levels (which add needed contrast) and auto colour correction in Phoptoshop Elements for example make the image more natural and dramatic, (less washed-out) I think.

The details of your shot are great. I'm inclined to agree with the previous post about the slight blue tone. Also, the composition could benefit from a little cropping because the elements of the photo are two large objects and they are competing for attention. I would tend to crop some of the foreground rock formation. I'd like to try a workshop.

Tonight I was travelling with the TE browser with the word Earth >> North America >> Canada >> Northern; the gallery shows 105 shots... this is the third picture of the 105 for which a critique will be posted.
Thanks to the photographer's note, where he captured his wildest dreams.
These rocks realy looks like and old castle disbanded long long time ago in the far cold north.

P.S. I placed this one in my favorites
