Photographer's Note

Often tourists visiting Canada are keen to see a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer dressed in their red serge. I believe they are part of the Canadian culture. Yesterday, 4 officers where killed. This is the worst loss of this magnitude since 1885. I post this picture in honor of those four who died. It is part of the red serge uniform which is the dress uniform of the RCMP. Often tourists ask if this uniform is worn all the time. Some of you may have watched the T.V. show, Due South. This uniform is only worn for special occassions. I am not sure if this is the correct site to post this photo, but I believe some of you will be interested.
