Photographer's Note

In full medium of the fjord, close of this superb iceberg wedged by the ice-barrier... our inuk * probe ice by striking it with this stick in order to detect the presence of a possible gallery under the ice. These tunnels correspond, in fact, with seals breathing holes. After found a gallery, here that it starts to jump to joined feet so that the ice breaks down. Thus one can catch young seals. In spite of the speed of our inuk, the seal east flees... damage it will be for another time!
* inuk is the singular of inuit.
