First photos of a series of Northern Light pictures from Yellowknife.

Once again I revisit the Ingraham Trail. Along the way there is lots of nice scenery.

moon is really bright at that night, even the sign post got its shadow at night. Amazing

I like this very much.

I'd love to see the Northern Lights and imagine it must be pretty difficult to capture a good image of them...but I reckon you've done a good job!

I like the fact you've included the trail sign in the picture and I like the eerie feel to the snow and trees brought on by the exposure time.

It's a nice, crisp image...well done!

Wow...awesome, almost unreal image David. I like your composition with the sign in the foreground. The image is crisp and saturated well.

Shame about your name in the right corner, somehow it just doesn't seem right to tarnish such a perfect image.

This is a super shot, David. I find it fun that the lights themselves look kind of like a yellow knife!

Hi David,

Beautiful capture of the Northern Light. Oh, I want to go to Yellowknife to see this, or even more up north in BC. So far I have been able to see the Northern Lights right here in Vancouver a couple of years ago, but it wasn't nearly as beautiful as this. Great shot with amazing colours, a great composition and well captured!

I wish I was lucky to be in a position to capture such a great shot. I've just started to do night shots myself, non good enough for TE yet but I'm working on it.

You've composed the shot very well with the NL leading you down to the sign.

Can't wait to see more posts like this.
