Photographer’s Note
Taken in Charlevoix, Quebec, Canada at around 06:30 last Monday morning.. These nets are used to capture fishes. They are captured in a box shaped net located at the far right, as the tide changes. Here you see the left side of it.

Pat this is a nice one,
Fantastic shot and what a great colours, the depth with taking it so low on the ground is lovely, very good job I love it.

This is gorgeous, nice sharpness throughout, great low viewpoint, lovely pastelly colours in the sky. First rate.

What a beautiful light! Interesting composition with the nets in the upper third, allowing us to enjoy the texture of the water. Nicely presented with a keyline and border. I am not a fan of frames, but this image is so simple, the frame does not detract, and the dark colour helps to contain the infinity of the water. Well done!

This kind of shot is very much your speciality Pat and I like it very much. Much to learn from your gallery I see with great use of DOF and motion blur. Nicely presented to my only critique would be the size of your images id like to see them alittle bigger but thats the penalty I pay for running my monitor at 1600 resolution.

The thumbnail caught my attention. The larger version did not disappoint! The sea resembles a smooth, silky blanket stretching beyond the horizon. I like the blending of the soft colours of the dawn and the colder tones of the sky and sea.
