Maybe you wouldn't believe me, but, although I took the subway to go to the SAINT HELEN ISLAND/ÎLE DE SAINTE-HELÈNE, I walked a lot around there (visiting, for example, the JEAN-DRAPEAU PARK/PARC JEAN-DRAPEAU, the MONTRÉAL CASINO and the GILLES-VILLENEUVE CIRCUIT) and all the way back to dowtown!

In this picture, I was about to go across the LA CONCORDE BRIDGE/PONT DE LA CONCORDE, between the SAINT HELEN ISLAND/ÎLE DE SAINTE-HELÈNE and the NOTRE-DAME ISLAND/ÎLE DE NOTRE-DAME, and stopped by for a while to take some pictures where I could see the frozen LAC DES CYGNES/SWANS'S LAKE and the city's SKYLINE in the background!

It's been a year already since my departure to CANADA last year (today I would be spending my 2nd day in TORONTO/ONTARIO/CANADA), so I'll post here some more pictures of that wonderful trip of mine, the one I dreamed of for so long and it was a real pleasure to make it come true!

This must be a very nice spot to stop and linger for a while in the warmer weather. I like the composition very much. It is pleasing to the eye and has an agreeable range of tones. The square format suits perfectly. Light, colours and sharpness are all good features here.

Bonjour Neyvan

Tu as bien saisi l'atmosphère qui se dégage de l'hiver québecois. Les bancs sont vides et la neige prend toute la place. On endend le silence et on voit la fumée sortir de la bouche des gens.

Hi Neyvan,
A beautiful colour harmony in this capture, obvious already in the thumbprint. The blue colours on the highrises are resembling the blue bench in the foreground and between these blue parts are the brown shades of trees. A very pleasant picture!

sembra quasi di vedere New York dal Central Park :-)
Ottima prospettiva con grande rispetto delle linee verticali.
Atmosfera invernale molto bella.
Sarebbe stato bello vedere una coppia mentre si baciava, in una delle due panchine, giusto per animare la scena :-)

Estas torres muito futurista para meu gosto, no entanto, são um refúgio eficaz contra o frio. Este quadro das bancadas desocupado, é poético. As cores são agradáveis, a execução é impecável. Bravo.

i can see why there these benches are empty, it can get pretty cold sometimes. but its still a nice vantage point to see the city from.

Magnifique vue sur la ville, une photo bien présentée dans un beau format carré. Un peu froid pour le amoureux pour s'assoir sur le banc, c'est mieux d'attendre le printemps. Excellent rendu des couleurs malgré l'absence du soleil. Belle photo de vacances.

Although in this winter scene only three colors prevail, white, dark-blue and brown, it looks very interesting, attractive and colorful. Excellent composition, good light, nice colors and very high quality!

un superbe cadrage avec en premier plan ces deux bancs, libres et on comprend pourquoi...pas de cygnes non plus où alors ils se confondent...une belle présentation avec un cadrage soigné avec un bel arrière plan

Les banc bleus répondent au bleu des édifices dans le lointain et la neige bien blanche fait ressortir les arbres et les bancs.

buena composición con los bancos en el primer plano, el lago helado con los árboles de lindos colores en el plano medio, y el fantástico skyline de la ciudad al fondo. Bien captada la fría atmósfera invernal.
Es un encuadre eficaz que nos recuerda un poco Central Park.

This is a fine winter scene!
Some of the trees in the snowy landscape still has some leaves from autumn left, adding a touch of colour...
The skyline across the park adds the city feeling!
