House with a view, a photo from Quebec, Central

Photographer's Note

This house sits on a rock just in front of the Rocher Perce in Quebec.
It was abandonned for many years but now it is owned by the Quebec's University.
This is maybe the house with the best spot in Perce.

Hi Jean,
This is a very beautiful picture, nicely composed. You have used the 'rule of thirds' to your advantage by placing the house at the bottom third. Great shot!

Fantastic place that you've captured in a fantastic way. The view of the house is incredible. Did you applied some PPs to the picture ?.. there are some strange but nice effecto on the rocks and the water.

Photo superbe!
Ici on peut vraiment dire "à couper le souffle".
Le point de vue.....on ne pourrait avoir mieux.
La lumière.....toute en douceur mais bien présente.
Les couleurs....vraies, et rien d'artificiel.
Composition, détails, cadrage, on ne pourait demander mieux.
Mille fois BRAVO!

Bonjour Jean-François,
Belle photo originale de cette maison avec le rocher percé et bonne composition. Le temps était nuageux tout comme moi quand j'ai passé par là l'été dernier. Ta note est très intéressante car je ne savais pas qu'elle appartenait à l'Université du Québec.

Jolie composition. L'une des rares fois ou l'on ne voit qu'une partie du rocher Percé sur TE, l'emphase étant mise sur la belle demeure que bien des gens voudraient posséder...et pour cause.

This is a wonderful view! I like the composition, placing the house in the foreground with the large rocks in the back; they make the house look so tiny. The water in between is also nicely captured. That must be a scary house to be in during a storm!!
