Chateau Frontenac is in Old Quebec City. It overlooks St. Lawrence River. It was designed by an American architect.

i know this area very well, i lived here for 4 years before moving to where i am now.
this is one of the very few buildings we have in canada that resemble european architecture.
love the use of the long wooden pier deck, as it helps to solidify the depth and long perspective lines.

The most notable edifice in Quebec-city, with the fantastic turrets, well taken with fine details on bright daylight.
When I was there it was a horrible rainy day, with fog and couldn't take even one decent photo (9/1978).

Ah... this is home for me. This is a great view of the Chateau and the Dufferin Terrace where we have such a magnificnt view. I like this shot which shows well this famous site.
