Many Montrealers in down town travel with their bicycles to go to every where because they can park their bicycles just any where for free......look at this image I took in Old Port Montreal where one can hardly find a parking space for the car at any time in the day.

Welcome to TE! I hope you are enjoying your experience so far. You are my left neighbor today (i.e., you posted your photo right after I did).
I like the perspective offered by the narrow alley. The play between the shade and the sunlight is very nice. Your POV is very good. The presence of the bike on the opposite side is also very effective. Well done and TFS!

This is an interesting back street, possibly neglected by tourists and looking dull at first sight. But the fine light falling on the fašades has accentuated the details of the grey walls and given them a quite lively character. Further back we see some people so the street is not as deserted as it may look. And then of course the bike, well placed in the foreground, is another sign of life.
I would also like to thank you so much for adding me to your favourites. It pleases me much and makes me feel honoured.

The length of the street is giving depth and perspective to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the fašades of the buildings. The bicycles are helping to frame the scene. Have a nice day.
