I took this picture in the Down Town of Montreal near Champlain Bridge. It was a very sunny day and lucky that I had brought my polarizer with me. The clouds are looking great with the filer and the color of the top of the church is very real and natural.

Welcome to TE. Thank you for viewing my photos from Quebec. Over a hundred more to come in the months ahead.
Here, you have a good view on the dome framed bu the surrounding buildings. The light gives hsarp deatils of it's architecture.

welcome to TE! :)
if you continue on with this website you'll quickly find yourself addicted :)
friends can be made quickly here, its a lovely place to be. and its nice to see a fellow Canadian too.
as for the photo, i hope you don't mind me picking it apart a bit! On the positive side, the light is certainly a star attraction here, its warm and very inviting. the exposure level is also spot on, wouldn't change a darn thing in that regard.
The only thing i'd be cautious of is placing your main subject in the middle of the frame. Its usually, and i really do mean 'usually' as there's always the exception to every rule...best to be placed at or near the 1/3 level to either side. just a quick tip :)
Hope to see you around
