Photographer’s Note
Quebec City is perched on the banks of the St Lawrence river, 150 miles east of Montreal. The only fortified city north of Mexico celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2008. Visitors can meander through the Old City on foot. Shops along le Petite Champlain are in the oldest shopping street in North America. The turrets of the grand Chateau Frontenac represent an icon for the city and help to make it one of the most recognizable buildings in the world.

hi John
Yes, this is the best part of Canada for me and I have visited the old City at least 3 times. Each time wanting to stay forever.
Very good capture of the street scene to show such fine architecture.

Hi John,
A typical of Quebec city, the clouds are a bit overexposed but I like the vertical construction of ht eimage and the visual progression up to the Chateau Frontenac. Interestingly I worked with your exact homonym some years ago...
Have a nice day JY

Hi John
Welcome to TE. Quebec City is one of my favourite cities in Canada mainly because of the old city and it's 400 year old buildings. You hace captured the essence of the narrow streets and of course the Chateau Frontenac all in one here. Well seen.
Phil
