Photographer's Note
A close shoot of the old québec were old brick walls wants to tell their story each time you go visit them. You really feel like touring in old europe at each visit. And by the way it's the 200e post for me.

Hello Alain,
There are lots of fine details to appreciate on this photo, all along the street, and you managed very well with the light here, making it able for us.
The vertical format of this photo is very apprpriate so that we can go thru it until we get to its top with the imposing castle.
As a lover of architectural photo, I like a lot what you show here specially because there are lots of fine details to discover.
Cheers.

Hello Alain,
I really didn't know that the Quebeck's architecture is so... european. There are good details in your photo and light condition also.
I think the lower part of the picture is unnecessary, because is too empty.

Bonsoir Alain,

Amicalement
Denis!

HI Alain,
Beautiful light .. I love the tone .. I love the sense of antiquity .. How the vertical frame amplifies the striking height and sense of dimension is very effective .. very nice. take care, John

Hi Alain,
It really does look like Europe! It looks like this would have been a hard shot to expose correctly but you've managed to get a good balance of light between foreground and background really highlighting all the fine details. I might have adjusted the photo for lens distortion before posting as you can see it on either of the walls left and right, but that's all. Fine shot
all the best
