Photographer’s Note

There are lots of statues in Quebec City – it is really a historical place! The statues looked like ghosts in the fog, it was beautiful and mystical.

At a first view, I was surprised to see this man in Quebec City. But quickly I understood that the city has all reasons to pay tribute to this important person, not only for France, he has been important for the entire world – it is Charles de Gaulle. No need to say anything more.
Anyway, the National Anthem of France, La Marseillaise, speaks for him (see this web site).

(Of course, I prefer the National Anthem of Brazil because of its lyrics talking about beauty and peace and because of its melody, but I must admit that the Marseillaise is also very beautiful).

Other picture in the WS-1 in horizontal format but feet are not seen. Please, I would like you to tell me which one you prefer ;-)
In WS-2, a frontal POV.

Have a nice Sunday.

Note: the photo is in colour mode, even if it is B&W.
