Photographer's Note

Church with an interesting architecture in downtown of Montreal. I like the statues on the roof. Everyday, while going to work, I see this church and it attracted my glance. I could not resist to immortalize it...
I repost it because I must agree that the original was too dark, even if I liked it. I just played with Curves function.

Hi Pascal. This level of brightness seems just about right. We can appreciate the details a lot better now. I find it funny and ironic that I just uploaded a shot that I'm afraid people will find too dark! Nice pp-work Pascal!

Very interesting building. It does not look like a church at all. Perfect light and sharpness here. Also the framing is interesting, although I'd like to see a full view of this church as well.

Hi Pascal,
An interesting effect for the building with the details well defined and the shadows have helped to enhance the shapes.
I just wish that the patch of shadow on the lower left is not there. Well seen and captured. I preferred this version. All the best.

Bonjour Pascal,
C'est un véritable plaisir de vivre tout près d'aussi beaux monuments architecturaux. Je pense que c'est tout à fait l'esprit de TE de faire découvrir une partie du lieu où l'on habite et de le mettre ainsi en valeur. Belle composition sur cette façade qui semble très grande et large. Amicalement.

Hi Pascal,
A most interesting shot. The lighting levels are just fine and the detail sharp. I like the architecture very much and the carved figures on the top very much enhance. Your POV is excellent, as the building angles nicely for maximum impact. Great capture.
