Boulevard René Lévesque was called Boulevard Dorchester from 1955 to 1987 and it was changed and named Boulevard René Lévesque in 1987 to honour René Lévesque, the founder of the Parti Québécois political party and the 23rd Premier of Quebec (November 25, 1976 – October 3, 1985). He was the first Quebec political leader since Confederation to attempt, through a referendum, to negotiate the political independence of Quebec.
Almost all the great Montreal travel attractions would be found around and along this Boulevard. Thank for viewing.

This is a fine composition with superb light and colors. I like the fine buildings and the strong vertical accent they create for the composition. The FedEX truck, the yellow light and the parking lot sign add fine details, but any photo from a big city street also needs people, of which there are enough here. There is no need for a crowd, just some persons giving life to the view, like the woman crossing the street and the red-headed woman with the red blouse. To me these two are very important participants in the photo.

This is a good composition with five vertical lines, not including the lampost. The animation of the street is well done with two main interesting characters. The good light gives natural colors and good sharpness.

Like this street life scene a lot with an impressive architecture in the background. The lady captured in the foreground looks interesting and she is a good focal point of your image. Well seen and taken with a great sense of the moment.

Tous mes compliments,

this is a fine composition with the vertical format put to excellent use to display the magnificent buildings in the background. The clear blue sky makes a wonderful backdrop and the pedestrians in colourful dresses provide very good variety. The dof achieved is excellent. The lady crossing the street adds a very good element of spontaneity to the picture.
Thanks for sharing and have a great new week ahead.

The length of the street is giving depth to the composition. The presence of the people is adding life to the scene. The point of view is showing the détails, the colors of the buildings and of the Notre-Dame basilica. The light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

the buildings in the background are massive and imposing. Even though the tips of the towers are a little cropped, I like very much how the buildings rise high in the frame and how spontaneous and dynamic the street scene looks in the foreground. You have managed light and shadows superbly and details are well defined and interesting. I also like the consistency of the cold tones and the contrast of a few warm colour details. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,
