Saint-Denis Street serves as one of the primary thoroughfares of both the Latin Quarter, where it plays host to a number of bars and restaurants, to the Plateau Mont-Royal, where it is known as one of the best places to view Montreal's distinct style of architecture. Extending from the historic district of Old Montreal to the picturesque banks of the Riviere des Prairies, this pristine boulevard is something of a local institution. Restaurants and boutiques perch along its sidewalks, captivating architecture dots the landscape, and the top Saint Denis Street hotels beckon with endless charms. This place is a MUST to see if you are making a trip to Montreal.

A well exposed night time composition of this busy shopping street with some well frequented cafés. The architecture of the façades is very attractive and makes a stark contrast with the concrete high rise in the background.

This is a goog blue hour shot of this anumated street. The large version offers quite a few interesting details an is quite sharp for a night picture. The architecture of the buildings stands well in the dim light.

A nice looking street with the pleasant mood of an evening in early summer. The couple to the right add a fine attraction to the view, but if you had waited another second or two for them to step entirely inside the frame they would have looked even better. Maybe you didn't even notice them. It would probably have happened to me as well.

fine framing and composition of this street in Montreal. You managed the difficult evening light excellently to bring out so many interesting details. The lights inside the restaurants and shops and the signs provide beautiful ambience of a cool and relaxed evening. Thanks for sharing and have a great new week ahead.

Useful advice Anna I'll remember it! that place looks full of activity, people are roaming, eating and drinking in cafes, good street view, you focus on the grey mini cooper, see you

It's not as brightly lit as the famous Las Vegas Strip but it looks like the people enjoying the blue hour dining and watching other people. I like the low lighting and it still has good details. Well done, tfs.
