A man was riding his water jet boat at an extremely high speed on Saint-Lawrence River at Montreal Old Port, Quebec.
The house complex in the BG is Habitat 67, a model community and housing complex in Montreal, Canada, designed by Israeli–Canadian architect Moshe Safdie. It is located at 2600 Avenue Pierre-Dupuy on the Marc-Drouin Quay next to the Saint Lawrence River. Habitat 67 is widely considered an architectural landmark and one of the most recognizable and significant buildings in both Montreal and Canada.
The complex was built with Lego Blocks concept and
was designed to integrate the benefits of suburban homes, namely gardens, fresh air, privacy, and multilevelled environments, with the economics and density of a modern urban apartment building. It was believed to illustrate the new lifestyle people would live in increasingly crowded cities around the world.

I think you had a very difficult light to take this shot and I must say it is not one of your best. Howevere the jet boat trail is spectacular and the person must be eager for next summer to ride again.

Another really beautiful composition with lovely colours and great light management. the water and the houses split the scene in half but it has worked really well. the boat and especially the surfer give great dynamism. thanks for sharing.

Unfortunately the water movement is hiding the water jet boat. The distance to the buildings is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the détails and the colours of the architecture of Habitat 67. Have a nice day.

This is a quite exciting and interesting view and really two compositions in one, but they go well together. It seems unusual to see a man speeding across the water in the centre of a city, but his "tracks" create a spectacular white line in the foreground. The "Lego" building is amazing and a very interesting piece of architecture.

nice the view of the passing by water jet boat in front og your lens having as backdrop the house complex.I like the good presentation, the light and the colour management as the created layers that make the scene even more effective.

A clever composition that kills 2 birds with one stone: jet ski on the river and Habitat 67. Very nicely done.
