Photographer's Note

This photo was taken on the banks of the Lachine Canal. This canal was an important place of Canada's industrial development. The name "Lachine" comes from the fact that at the arrival of the French in Canada, they looked for a way across Canada to China. "La Chine" means China in French". Now a national park, the navigation canal is now reserved for boating and sports.

This is a picture of new building of condos apartments beside a old factory converted to condos apartments.

Une photo qui nous fait connaitre cet endroit avec tous ces condominioms, le pédalo donne de la vie l'image.

Bonjour Réjean,

C'est un bel exemple de la tendance du tout pareil. L'angle de prise de vue est bien choisi et la luminosité donne de bonnes couleurs. Cependant, il y a un manque de netteté.

Avec cette cheminée quelle vue les petit pédalo dans l'immensité de ces édiffices sueprbe captage et ensemble cela doit être agréable de se laisser filer au fil de l'eau et admirer la cité.

nice the snapshot with the plastic water bicycle to stroll in the Lachine canal in front of the condos apartments.I like the tranquil scenery with the light to be well captured.

La distance entre le pédalo et la rive donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs des condos. La bonne luminosité donne des couleurs douces à l'image. Bonne soirée.

How you spotted this in the first place, this is nice dynamic picture of a wonderful river pano and the banks. The slightly mutted environment creates a fine effect on the picture with the dots of vivid greens making a good composition and contrasting the picture superbly. You have created extremely effective anchor to the shot. IMHO this can still be sharpen slightly. Great adventure and nicely taken, Congrats, TFS
