Photographer’s Note
I took this shot and a few others during our last visit to Lac Philippe in Quebec where I was so inspired in the summer months. Now things were more subdued, not yet in full colour. I kept going back to the places I frequented in summer when the water level was much higher. This is one of them. I liked the playfulness of lines and shapes in their own simplicity.
Not much pp afterwards, just cropping and level adjustment.

I'm quite impressed how you managed to perfectly shot this. The lighting is juste great to delivers constrats and under-water shadows and reflections. I like the graphical compo.
Thanks,
Al.

This is so nice i could just stare at it all day. Something so very natural to it. The glass like water and the wonderful refracted reflections are so easy on the eye. Very minimalist in a very natural setting superb.

Very nice in it's simplicity and complexities - I love the texture of the scene underwater - how important these broken horizontals are in supporting the composition and the beautiful capture of the plants above and below the water and their reflections - an image that lets me touch the surface tension - accentuated by a beautiful piece of slow piano music being played in the background as I look at this image!!!!!
Fantastic!!!
A real treat with or wthout the music!
best wishes Kev

The thumbmail only hints at the beauty within this stunning shot. There is an Asian quality to this, an almost Cambodian feel I cannot fully explain, eacept to say it's there.
Wonderful.

Beautiful stuff, I especially like how the reflections criss cross with the underwater reeds as well as the detail on the water's surface.

Very pretty and sharp, nicely balanced composition. Love how the reflected light play on the details of bubbles, water drops and Schlieren fringes around the reeds.

Another great signature shot Sarolta! Nice composition with great true to life tones. I like seeing reflections on clear water it's very impressive. No polarizer?

Hello Sarolta, I'm glad to see you popping back to that lake - scene of so many wonders this year!
This is another beautiful composition, yet the differences between this and the earlier shots is very clear.

Hi Sarolta
What a fine macro shot of nature with real colors, you know by now I'm in to color mainly and it is fine that you know how to make a tiny detail of nature so beautifull to enjoy.
