Photographer’s Note

Another of my lake images. I was drawn to these little stems emerging here and there from the calm surface of the water, they reminded me of some chaotic musical notes, the whole scene was "musical" to me.

Very well seen, Sarolta, it probably wasn't an obvious shot! The reflections do resemble musical notes.

Hmm, to me it seems a bit random for Bach, maybe Chopin or Debussy instead?

Another view of this lake from a new perspective. Lovely clarity of detail and good framing of this simple but striking subject. The shadows/reflections really add to the composition.

The light on the stems (yellow and blue) is marvelous and beautiful
The reflection is a second perfection
And the third is the perfect composition and the DOF

What I would shout : Perfect shot. You did it great, the detail, color tone and reflextion are all amazing. I really like the contrast between yellow and blue here. Looks charming. BRAVO

This reminds me of Bach too, for some reason. The way the stems come clean and clear out of the water, leaving many chaotic possibilities behind. And the way they gather sun in the process and end with a round sound isolated from the others. This could not be impressionism to me, but it's nice to see that many people thought of musical associations.
I also like the stems' reflections in the water.

The scene is musical, in the sense of organization and composition (superb) .
Great POV and DOF.
I like specially the reflections.
