Photographer’s Note
Visit of Grosse-Ile, in front of Montmagny (Quebec, Canada). This isolated place was of use as about forty to the immigrants coming from Irland afterward from Europe generally, all the boats must be disinfected as well as the passengers. The disease of the typhoid, the plague etc. were present on these boats. The immigrants avoided Ireland because of a big famine. All these places demonstrate well the history of these Irish immigrants.

This is lovely Hermance, it's got quite a grainy look to it, was this a scanned in photo? very unusual colors which give it a cool feel, very nice.

Very attractive picture, reminding Alfred Hitchcok's films atmosphere. But I'm very perplex about the poor photographic quality and the unnatural colors reminding the first technicolor films. Or, it comes direct out of your camera, and there is a BIG problem, or this is your choice, and some tech notes would be appreciated, or at least your artistic objectives. I don't want to be harsh, but whatever the artistic quality, there are also a minimum photographic requirements to make a good shot.

Nicely composed. Looks like you've burned the sea a lot - that worked well. The trees and rock a a bit short of detail, especially the trees at the top. Tilted horizon. The colour effect is peculiar, but fine.

I like the feel of this picture, but I also agree with ornis that some tech. would be nice since this is most probably not the original file from your camera.
