Photographer's Note
Here is a small Forte we found on the Gaspé Péninsula, near Parc Forillion. For what I gathered, it's 1 of 3 forts protecting the Gaspé harbor and the lower entry to the St-Laurence from U-boats and ships in the early 40's. The other two where called Forte Haldimand and Fort Prével. They all surrounded the Naval base "H.M.C.S. Forte Ramsay". Who says we don't have any history in Canada?
