Autumn snow showers, a photo from Quebec, Central

Photographer's Note

Snow showers over the St Lawrence river in mid October. Taken from in front of the Manoir Richelieu golf course, the closest I've ever been to one of these things. This was scanned from a very old negative, taken when I was a student at McGill university. I did not have a car then, but rented one for Canadian Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Sorry about the image quality, it should have been better. The top part was darkened and the trees lightened.

de délicieuses couleurs mêlant automne et été, une belle impression de profondeur.
La composition manque un peu de netteté, mais elle n'en reste pas moins agréable à regarder.

Ces tons d'automne si lumineux mis en valeur par le beau vert du premier plan et le bleu de la rivière c'est un très beau spectacle qui réjouis celui qui le contemple. Du très beau !
