Et on se réchauffe une patte à la fois dans le plumage. Un peu tôt peut-être pour elles. Pas surprenant si elles ont écouté la méteo à la télévision.

Oh, the poor Canada geese! Look how many are standing on one leg to keep the other foot warm! I can't say I blame them!

You have composed the shot well, making the line between the ice and the water follow the thirds line.

You have done well to get so close without scaring them!

Good repetition of the geese with excellent sharpness & I like the flattened perspective from the zoom. Excellent textural details in the fg ice & nice bg reflections in the unfrozen water. I like the minimalist colour too. Tfs!

Bonjour Serge,

La grandeur du morceau de glace donne d ela profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs des bernaches. La lumière de l'après-midi a un bel effet sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Ce qui me fasciae chez les migrateurs c'est le radar infaillible logé dans une petite "cervelle d'oiseau"!
Et ils connaissent la température à venir, en plus, comme ce regroupement en attente!
