Photographer's Note

This is a landscape all the passer by but few are aware of the historical interest. This island is known for native americans and the surveyor Joseph Bouchette. It also conceals the rock engraved in 1876 (Posuerunt custodem me) (They told me custody) of my ancetre the Rev. Jean Baptiste Ponton. It is a place that should be revalued provided the evidence that sunrise

pierrefonds has marked this note useful
