Friday the 13th at Becancour Photo

Photographer’s Note

Taken a few days ago , when the MV Lake Ontario sailed from Becancour. It was Friday the 13th. Time 08:36hrs AM.

Today it is far different. Heavy Freezing rain is falling. The roads will be quite dangerous.

So I leave early. Back tonight with more.... and possibly a few photos....

Hi Robert,

fantastic colors you captured. Theres sorrt of a cartyoonish feel here with the strong colors and shapes. I really like it, it jumped at me as a thumbnail.

What striking primary colours plus the touch of green. I like the angle in the foreground aligned with the ship and the difference in size between the 2 boats. Nice detail of the word Lake.

Des couleurs splendides !! La différence de grandeur entre ces 2 bateaux est bien mise en valeur. Un excellent cadrage.
Le cadre noir lui va bien é cette photo.

Bonjour Robert,
Bravo pour cette photo où les couleurs et la composition jouent un rôle parfaitement complémentaire et où tout s'intègre dans ce quadrilatères dont les coins sont les deux navires et les deux amarres. Bien pensé! C'est juste dommage que tu n'aies pas pu avoir plus de lumière du soleil sur tous les éléments de la photo.

Bonjour Robert,
La compositon est supberbe avec la neige au premier plan, les points d'amarrage, le gros et le petit bateau, mais ce qui "fait" cette photo ce sont bien évidemment les couleurs vives. C'est superbe!

tu aurais pu titré cette photo: "David contre Goliath, le retour"
Très belles couleurs, très flashies mais c'est ta composition qui fait beaucoup.
L'opposition de taille entre ces bateaux est impressionnante.

Vraiment tres jolie cette photo... J'apprécie beaucoup cadrage faite par la neige dans le bas et les touches de couleurs vives a droite et a gauche.. Definitivement, j'adore les scenes maritimes que tu captures...

Ca me donne comme souvenir que quand j'ai eu la chance de faire mes choix de cegep, j'avais opte pour l'informatique en premier choix et en troisieme choix l'institut maritime de Rimouski.

Le hasard a voulu l'informatique!
