[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Rising fog is dispersed as Ra (Sol, Sun, Soleil) is rising. The Harricana river is supplying the fog at a small rapid in the heart of Amos. Once a flourmill graced the spot. And many small transport vessel plowed the river. But after the building of roads, all the boats have disapeared, except recreational boats. In the summer there is a small cruise boat that does ply the water a few weeks at Amos. The Harricana, empties into James Bay, then Hudson Bay, then the Artic Ocean.

Very nice shot Norm. Lovely colours/composition. Did you do any post-processing? I'm wondering how it might look if the sharpness was altered, like on the tree to the left? cheers Leon.

looks like a mythical place a picture from an Arthurian legend very lovely

Hi Norm, very beautiful photo with nice delicate colors dissolving in the fog and beautiful reflection.
Ciao Silvio

Bonjour Norm,

Hi Norm,
lovely atmosphere you've created here, great contrast and subtle inclusion of humanity with the building and church spire. There is a feeling of slight desolation, which i feel adds nicely to the sombreness and eerieness of the rising fog.
i wonder how it would look in black and white, or at least desaturated a bit, might fit better with the overall feel of the image than the very warm orange/red....? Pity you don't allow workshops, for which i am deducting a point!

fantastic shot, delicate colours and good POV.

Beautifull, filled with atmosphere and positive optimisc thoughts at the begining of one more beautifull day.
