[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Once upon a time, way back in Lower Canada in the years 1650, lumber jacks, wood hunters and first inhabitant of the settlement used to lived in similar log cabins. Such log cabins were still in use till 1930 in upper lands located north west of Quebec city.

Imagine yourself spending most part of your life in such a place with a family of 10 or more…

However two elements of modern life remains on the picture can you find them : answer in the workshop.

Hi Forest,
Basically a well composed shot of this old cabin. Good balance and perspective. The fall colours enhance and the cabin is seen as neatly nestled into the foliage. I would have cropped more of the foreground however to accent the cabin and perhaps brighten the scene and add a little contrast. I will try a Work Shop if you don't mind. You did a great job of eliminating the unwanted debris in your own WS. Good capture.
John

[ Very nice picture, well balanced and very good description too ]

[ I've made some workshop on this one but i didn't masterized this art yet ]

[ I've removed the trace left by the aircraft and also removed the yellow plastic tube that cover the ground wire and the remainings of the ground wire that were left a the lower right of the picture ]

Bonjour Jean-Pierre,

Pierre
