Hello Maria,

Probably one of the most internationally famous North American birds, aside from the bald eagle. Having never been there I have seen neither, but I can appreciate their beauty from photos like this one. I like that it is partially hidden behind that branch. The blue colours are so attractive, and i like how it compliments the snowy background behind it. Well done.

A nice shot of this lovely bird on its natuaral environment. Its very difficult to take pictures of birds. The closer you get and the more you try to perfect the shot the more likely they are to fly away.

fine shot of the bird in natural environment. I love that the bird has something to eat despite the winter. However, contrary to Matthew, I find the branch in front of the blue jay a bit distracting (but that's nit picking). Excellent shot.

Oi, Maria do Carmo,
Que primor de fotografia! Vi a do WS, mas sem sombra de dúvida que esta é the best. Gostei do POV com o desfoque gradual dos planos de fundo, e nitidez do foco principal está muito boa, pois conseguimos ver os detalhes da penugem do pássaro. Aliás, a cor dele é linda, suave. Aqui está um tema que nunca tentei seriamente, principalmente porque me parece especialmente difícil.
Esta está realmente estupenda, muito bem focada e enquadrada. É um bocado pena que aquele pau tenha ficado na frente do bicho, mas não se pode ter tudo.

uma imagem com cores, contrastes belos uma bela balanceada na definicao do passaro e o fundo borrado, no entanto o fato do galho a frente do passaro atrapalha um pouco. Sem o galho seria uma foto excelente.

Que sorte a sua, e tao dificil conseguir um momento como este. Voce devia estar bem perto ou ter um otimo zoom! As cores e os detalhes do passarinho ficaram muito boas. Particularmente acho que a moldura distrai um pouco a atencao do sujeito principal.

Hi Maria. Lovely photo. These are a little different to the blue jays we saw in Toronto, they were nowhere near as pretty!! Good colour detail. Thanks for sharing.
