[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The original Bluenose, a working fishing schooner, was launched from a boat yard in Lunenburg, N.S., in March 1921. Her speed saw her win races against other Grand Banks schooners and the finest racing yachts alike, giving the Bluenose the title Queen of the North Atlantic. In 1963, the ship's replica, Bluenose II, was launched from the same ship yard, also built by many of the same men who worked on the original Bluenose.
The image of the schooner has appeared on the Canadian dime since 1937.
This photo of the schooner I took at Queens Quay Harbourfront in Toronto.

Hello Ziggy, I like this 2 second exposure of yours of this famous Canadian ship. Your exposure has captured all of the important details on the ship, and surrounding harbour at Queens Quay, and you have even captured a few of the brighter starts. Colour is good, with the dark blue night sky serving as a great backdrop.

Thanks, John

Servus Ziggy,
nastepna fotka z tego uroczego miejsca,ladna kolorystyka i dobra ostrosc,ladne swiatlo,pozdrawiam

Well Good Evening Ziggy. I see you made it closer to the Bluenose in this photo. Very sharp resolution and excellent image quality here. It seems to me that the two second exposure is perfect for this photo. Very well done!

Bonjour Ziggy,
un bateau aux allures de vaisseau fantôme avec ces lumières sur les cordages.
Les lumières sont d'ailleurs magnifiquement capturées ici, rendant les couleurs naturelles. La scène est très calme.
Best regards.
Daniel.

Hello Ziggy

A superb evening harborside scene, with good sharpness & colour. The fg elements are slightly distracting. Tfs!
