George, this is a great image. Well captured in black and white. Splendid atmosphere with a lot of tension.

Hi George,

Intriguing picture, which sure awakes the curiosity. A nice game of mirrors? People lerting trought th car window?... Good one.

Cheers,

Flavia

Yes, the appreciation of another is the appreciation of oneself, after all. The face of the desired is the mirror that enables us to desire ourselves. We look in their eyes full of interest and we see our own lovely images reflected back at us.

And then we see that guy with the big lens photographing us . . . and the moment is ruined. . . . (But then we realize, wow, we REALLY must be hot stuff . . . !)

You can read the rest in People magazine . . . :P

Great one, George.

In the line of fire . . . watch out for richochets.

BR, -Hugh

A potem odłożył aparat i lansował ją przeszło godzinę.
Tak mi się jakoś ta scena kojarzy. To musi być jednak coś więcej niż 35 mm, skoro wywołuje takie wrażenie.
Pozdrawiam.

You've done it Goerge Grabarczyk, absolutely tremendous scene
here,I think that you made really great use of your skills here
with this superb spot.Could be a bit to dark,to much black, maybe
not,but this is a great achievement or a photo that you should
be proud of,as you like so much to say ;).Inspiring work.Regards,
Horatiu

Hi, George -

Very intriguing study. He obviously knows you're taking his picture. At first I thought it was the Toronto metro, but it's obvious that's not it (it's in daylight). A truck, maybe? Anyway, it gives the viewer a lot to think about, which is the point.

Unlike Horatio above me, I am not disturbed by the dark tones; to me, it adds a nice touch of film noir, very much in keeping with the elements in the image.

Best,
Dan

hello george,

ever considered (did?) a movie making career? ;)) i feel that's what this shot (and many others of yours) is. a frozen piece of movie... love that gaze and countergaze, love the puzzle, buddy. hey, shouldn't there be your reflection somewhere there in the darkness too? ;) and i suspect, that SMILE and curious gaze is not meant for the driver actually... he just happens to be in the line of fire... crossfire that is... excellent stuff!

warm regards,
kristaps

Okay, G.G. you are a great. Really a great. Okay? This shot is so...intelligent as you are. Ciao, A.P.

Hi George,

this one is incredible, very classic, very Magnum, ...

Light exactly where it should be, shadow exactly where it should be... I'm particularly impressed by that guy's eyes looking at us from under the hat.

Brilliant shot.

Alez spoglada ta kobieta , miodzio!
Rewelacyjny klimat uzyskales ,swietnie uchwycony moment . brawo !
Pozdrawiam

To jest niesamowicie intrygujace...
Ta twarz, te inne twarze, tyle planow, a takie bliskie i pomieszane. To jest klasa, Jurek, wielka fotograficzna klasa.
Pozdrawiam z buzka wielgasna. Grazka.

Totally puzzled and totally in love with this photo - the note ? Well, you wake up my senses but you please them as well (vision of that photo, that is) -
Don't understand how and where you took this, it seems to date from the 60s (or even much earlier : too "young" to remember the vehicles of that time - could it be a "rally" with old cars ?)... What is and what is not a reflection ? What are those 2 white lines across the face of the smiling woman, whose gaze is so telling and friendly ? The story is missing, my curiosity is not satisfied with your note !
A mysterious photo and that's probably one of its appeal. Frames and counterframes, the eyes travel and wonder.
Splendid !
Cath.

Fascinating George. You keep the mystery here...who is who ?:-)
My English fails me here, I love the way there are different levels here, tunnel like, it sure awakens curiosity...! The strong rather dark is just beautiful, the face popping out of it, well I cannot stop looking at it, those shiny eyes, the teeth, the expression! Superb composition and mood, and yes, Kristaps is right, it looks like out of a good movie. Bravo!

Hugs and smiles
Michèle
